Each butterfly measures about 3.34 in wide and 4.33 in tall, with a body about 1.18 in wide, and the chime hangs about 20 in long. The solar panel has a built-in battery that charges in daylight. Remove the film from the solar panel, switch on the lights using the switch on the back of the panel, and hang the chime where the panel gets full sunlight. The LEDs change through seven colors, turn on automatically at dark, and turn off in daylight. The lights run about 6 to 8 hours after a full charge.
