At 6 x 3.1 x 1.3 inches the block is small enough to sit among books or beside a monitor, and because the resin is clear on every face it reads from both sides rather than having a single front. It sits in a wooden LED holder that lights the cube from below; the holder can be engraved with a name, which turns it from an ornament into something addressed to one person. Choose the plug-in type if it will live in one spot near a port, or the rechargeable type if you want to move it around the house without a cable following it. Material is epoxy resin on wood. Each cube is poured by hand, so the position of the shark, the colour of the water and the pattern of the bubbles are never quite the same twice.
