A helmeted bounty hunter holds the centre of this diorama, set into a block of hand-poured epoxy resin on a wooden base and surrounded by the dusty, washed-out colour of a frontier world. The resin is built up in stages and polished clear at the front, giving the figure genuine distance from the back wall of the pour, so the scene has depth rather than looking printed on. Once the LED comes up from underneath, the light rakes across the armour and scatters through the tinted layers, and the piece turns cinematic on a desk, a shelf, a gaming setup or a collector cabinet. Two axes to set. Style offers Style 1 and Style 2, two different arrangements of the diorama scene. Size covers Small at 6.8 x 5.2 in, Medium at 8.8 x 5.7 in and Large at 10 x 8 in. The small one tucks onto a bedside table or a crowded desk, while the large gives the landscape room to breathe and shows off more of the interior detail. Wood and resin are the only materials, and each lamp is individually poured, shaped and polished by hand. Pigment distribution, polish and the exact look of the background shift from piece to piece, so the one you receive is its own object.
