This black solar post cap light sits on top of a wooden fence or deck post and lights the yard at night. It charges from sunlight during the day and switches on at dusk, using a built-in 800 mAh rechargeable battery. The listing says it stays lit for about 12 to 14 hours after a 4 to 6 hour charge.

The housing is rated IP65 waterproof and is shown as frost-resistant and heat-resistant. The clear, faceted lampshade gives a bright white glow, and the larger solar panel is meant to keep charging on winter or less sunny days.

No wiring is needed. Mount the light with the four included screws on wooden posts from 4"x4" to 6"x6".
