Rocky, the Eridian engineer from Project Hail Mary, sits at the heart of this casting: a compact, rock-shouldered body with its spidery legs planted, sculpted by hand and then sealed inside crystal-clear epoxy. The clarity of the resin is the point. Look at it straight on and the figure seems to float in open air; look from an angle and the block bends the light around it. A natural wooden base carries the LED, and the glow rakes across the sculpted surface so the ridges and joints stay readable at night. Size offers five plain castings, from S at 5.1 x 2.5 inches up through M at 5.9 x 3.1, L at 6.69 x 3.3, XL at 7.8 x 3.7 and 2XL at 8.6 x 4.1 inches, plus matching engraved versions of S, M, L and XL. A separate Style axis holds three alternative designs, shown as Style 1, Style 2 and Style 3 in the photos. Personalization is required: up to 15 characters, which are engraved onto the wooden base. Each lamp is built individually by hand, so small differences in sculpting and resin finish are normal.
