An astronaut and a five-legged rock-shaped alien share a scene in deep space, cast into clear resin on a wooden base. It is an odd friendship and the piece plays it straight — the two figures are set at a conversational distance, cosmic cloud poured behind them, nothing dramatic happening. Two scenes to choose from: the Rocky Alien, or the Star Trek arrangement. Three sizes: M 6.7 x 5.2 in, L 7.8 x 6.0 in, XL 9.2 x 6.9 in, allow about 0.2 in. An RGB LED runs 16 colour modes from the included remote (CR2025/2032 battery not supplied), powered over USB at 5V. A good shelf piece for someone who reads science fiction rather than only watches it.
