Angular plating, cannon arm and that unmistakable helmet silhouette give this night light its presence: the robot is built up in clay and acrylic, set into epoxy resin, and mounted where warm natural wood meets the clear pour. The contrast is the point - organic grain underneath, hard machined shapes above - and as the RGB light climbs through the block it rakes across the armour panels and leaves deep shadow in the joints. Standing roughly 13 to 18 centimetres tall depending on size, it fits a bedside table, a desk or a shelf of figures. Style decides the character, with Optimus, Megatron and Voltrol to choose from. Size offers three plain bodies - S at 6.1 by 4.3 by 1.6 inches, M at 7.8 by 5.5 by 1.6 and L at 9.4 by 6.2 by 1.6 - plus the same three sizes with engraving added. If you take an engraved version, the personalization box accepts up to 30 characters for the text you want cut into the base. The RGB LED runs through 16 colours. Wood, clay and resin are shaped by hand, so panel lines and grain differ on every unit.
