Lord of the Rings Diorama Desk Ornament, One Ring Egg Shaped Resin Lamp, Handmade Epoxy Night Light, Birthday Gift for Him

An egg of high-clarity resin holds a miniature forest floor, and resting in the middle of that greenery is the One Ring, reproduced with the detail of the film prop. Light passing through the dome bends around the moss and foliage so the gold band seems to float in a pocket of still air. From the side the transparent shell magnifies the undergrowth; from above you look straight down onto the ring. The egg sits in a solid wood stand assembled with mortise and tenon joinery, so warm grain frames the clear dome. One choice to make. The Style axis offers either the Ring, as described, or the Sword in its place for anyone who would rather have the blade as the centrepiece. Measurements are the same across both, with the egg running 6.5 cm in diameter and listed heights of 8.7 cm and 10.8 cm. Every ornament is built by hand, so the arrangement of the greenery and the pattern of the wood differ from one to the next. It works on a desk, a bookshelf or an entryway table, where the transparent resin picks up whatever light is in the room.
