A cloaked grey wizard walks on under a fantasy night sky, staff in hand, the figure set into epoxy resin on natural wood. Two miniatures are offered and they change the scene completely: Gandalf with the Ring, quiet and solitary, or the Balrog, all horns and fire, facing the same column of light. Either way the glow rises behind the silhouette, which is where the piece gets its atmosphere. Three sizes are listed, all narrow and tall: small at 6.3 x 1.8 inches, medium at 7.9 x 1.8 inches and large at 9.1 x 1.8 inches. Only the height changes, so the taller options give the night sky above the figure more room. Each order contains one handmade epoxy resin lamp, a USB power cable and a remote that adjusts brightness and steps through ten LED colors; the remote battery is not supplied. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from direct sunlight, heat and water. Epoxy and wood being what they are, the grain and the resin pattern differ from lamp to lamp, which suits a bookshelf, a reading corner or a gaming setup.
