The great broad-bladed sword stands driven into the ground at the centre of this piece, hilt up, blade catching the light along its edge, with a frozen mountain landscape worked into the resin behind it. Crystal-clear epoxy holds the scene inside a solid natural wood frame, and the LED sits where it can rake light across the blade and through the icy background, so the glow looks like it is coming off the sword itself.
