<p>This 12-piece HVAC tube expander set widens the end of soft copper tubing so it can join another pipe fitting. Six expander heads cover 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 7/8 inch tubing, with two of each size in the box.</p><ul><li>Each head has a 1/4 inch hex shank that fits any standard drill chuck or drill press.</li><li>Head diameters: 6.3 mm (1/4 in), 9.5 mm (3/8 in), 12.7 mm (1/2 in), 15.9 mm (5/8 in), 19 mm (3/4 in) and 21.8 mm (7/8 in).</li><li>Head lengths range from 44.6 mm (1-3/4 in) for the smallest sizes to 62.5 mm (2-7/16 in) for the 7/8 inch head.</li><li>Use it for air conditioning maintenance, refrigerator lines and refrigeration equipment.</li></ul><p>Clamp the pipe fitting in a vise, slide the matching head onto the tubing, and run the drill slowly. Each unit is one 12-piece tube expander set.</p>
