Axolotl Resin Lamp, Mexican Salamander Underwater Scene Night Light, Engravable Wooden Base Gift for Her

An axolotl drifts through its own habitat, the plants and water worked into layers of resin so the scene has real distance in it. The creature itself is sculpted closely enough to be recognisable to someone who keeps them — the gills, the set of the mouth, the way the limbs hang rather than paddle. Three sizes: S 6.7 x 4.7 in, M 8 x 6.7 in, L 10 x 8.7 in. The package holds the resin lamp, a wooden base you can have engraved, an RGB LED and a 16-colour remote. Each piece takes the makers ten to twelve days from idea to finished lamp, done by hand throughout, which is why no two have the same plant placement or water tone. It suits a desk, a bedside table or a shelf, and it works as a gift for someone who likes the strange end of the animal world rather than the cute end.
