Axolotl Diorama Resin Lamp, Mexican Salamander Night Light, Handmade Epoxy Wood Desk Lamp, Resin Art Home Decor Gift for Him

Inside this diorama a pale axolotl drifts with its frilled gills spread, suspended in tinted epoxy that has been poured in stages so the water around it has genuine depth rather than a single flat tone. Aquatic plants and the contours of the pool floor are set into the resin at different levels, and the wood base below hides the light, which rises through the pour and makes the salamander's body glow softly from behind while the deeper water stays dim. One axis to choose: Size, listed width by height. Size M measures 6 x 4.6 inches, Size L measures 7.8 x 6 inches, and Size XL measures 8.6 x 7 inches, which gives the underwater scene the most room. A remote for the lighting is included. Other creatures can be worked into a scene like this as well, among them whales and whale sharks, divers, sea turtles, rays and jellyfish. Each lamp is made entirely by hand, so the wood shading differs from the photographs, colors shift between phone, tablet and computer screens, and about 0.5 inch of size variation is normal.
