<p>This automotive circuit tester locates short circuits and open circuits in car wiring without cutting into or damaging the insulation. It has two parts: a transmitter (sender) with a switch set to TONE, OFF, or CONT, and a handheld receiver with a flexible probe, a sensor tip, a volume switch, a test button, and a buzzer. Clip the sender's red and black alligator leads to a fuse socket, connector, or ground, then run the receiver along the wire to trace the signal and find a break or short.
